A large cargo plane crashed at the end of a runway and split in two while trying to take off on Sunday at Brussels airport in Belgium. Four of the five crew members on board the Boeing 747 were slightly injured and were hospitalized.

Giraffina, a brand new baby giraffe born last week at the Rome Zoo, made her public debut on Tuesday. The zoo plans to hold a day of festivities dedicated to Giraffina, on June 8, known as a Giraffa’s Day.

Two pandas that live at the Wolong Reserve in the area of China hardest hit by the earthquake are still missing. The quake damaged the panda enclosures at the reserve which is just 20 miles from the quake’s epicenter.

Parents say they’re angry an inappropriate site popped up on a school computer and they weren’t notified.
